Transfer from Panama City to Portobelo, where you will take a boat ride to El Otro Lado for a marvelous all inclusive retreat.

Each day during your stay, you are able to choose one wellness activity as a mindfulness walk, a hike to San Fernando, Yoga, Private Lake Hike, or a Tropical Functional Training; Also, one onsite adventure or culture activity as coffee tasting, water sports, or hiking. In addition, you can be as well part of the night program by participating in the movie or game night or delighting with a live performance or joining the "Creators Night".

Some of the traditional dances you can enjoy in El Otro Lado by this unique experience are Congo, Zaracunde and Los Diablos dances. The three of them are performed under diverse concepts, to present a part of the history of the ancestors, for example Congo dance dates back from the colonial slavery, while Zarancunde is about the slaves that ran away to the mountains, and Los Diablos is the achievement of freedom for the slaves. Moreover in each dance different instruments are used. Enjoy a one hour performance and delight with the dances, you can as well learn them and join the groups.

Transfer back to Panama City in the later morning. Then, at 3:00 pm get ready for an exciting cultural tour to one of the most special areas in Panama, Casco Viejo.

Get ready to taste the diverse flavors and experience the Panamanian Culture. This historical walking tour takes you across the Casco Antiguo or in English, the old city. The first stop is at the seafood market, a colorful place with interesting characters, to try the famous ceviche; keep walking through the cobblestone streets and visit a chocolate factory to learn about the cacao production process to the chocolate bars, prepare for some tasting accompanied by a freshly brewed coffee or tea.

Continue to the cultural and historical district, where you will try the raspado from street vendors; at the end of the tour and after some sightseeing, you will taste the Pedro Mandinga's delicious rum with a very typical snack, fried plantains with pulled pork or a fresh mango ceviche. Then, our guide will take you to the hotel.
