Arrival at San Pedro Sula and transfer to Copán, approximately 4 hours. Located close to the Guatemalan border, Copán is the main highlight of our cultural offering with the most elaborate high relief sculptures in the Mayan World and two world-class archaeological museums. The timetested skills of Mayan ancestors still exist today with specially honed skills for working with wood, leather and stone carving. The city of Copán has narrow streets, along with the brightly colored buildings and a friendly intimacy that creates a warm and inviting tourism center.

After breakfast, Tour to the mystical Mayan ruins and Sculpture Museum, where you will be able to witness the ancient Mayan culture. The ruined citadel and imposing public squares reveal the three main stages of development before the city was abandoned in the early 10th century. Copan with its temples, plazas and terraces, comprises a type of architectural complex among the most characteristic of the Mayan civilization. The lengthy inscription on the Hieroglyphic Stairway Plaza is of considerable historical significance.

Transfer to Tela( 5 hours), on the way visit Pulhapanzak waterfall .After lunch (not included) transfer to Lake of Yojoa. Visit the 43 meters of waterfall of Rio Lindo, and its cultural importance of the prehistoric settlement traces found in its surroundings makes it a must see destination in Honduras. The trails go very near to the Pulhapanzak waterfall, you will actually get into the waterfall and behind the falling water.

Breakfast. 8: 00 a.m. the boat ride from Tela to Punta Sal is 45 minutes long. You would have an hour or more, for walking through the National Park, with the opportunity to see monkeys, spiders, and butterflies. One or two hours for snorkelling (equipment included), the rest of the day you can relax and enjoy the beach. The length of the tour is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Relaxing is guaranteed, you can have a typical lunch at Cocalito Beach.

Breakfast. 8:30 a.m. kayaking through the mangrove canals of Punta Izopo National Park. Butterflies such as the Blue Morph abound as well as an ample variety of water birds including kingfishers and herons. We go back , for a visit to one of the Garifuna Villages Triunfo de la Cruz, where you can swim and have a typical lunch by the beach.

Transfer to La Ceiba (1 hour 30 minutes) launching off by boat from Zambo Creek , a one hour trip to the virgin white beaches of Cayos Cochinos will leave you in awe as you look back at the mainland with the ‘Cordillera Gracias a Dios’ towering in the distance. Coral reefs and pristine sandy beaches make up this archipelago of 13 cays – a “must see” on the Honduran North Coast. You will enjoy a tour of the islands, and a time of snorkeling while taking in the incredible tranquility of this marine biology reserve. 

Following the Rio Zacate trail, we’ll have a beautiful view of the Caribbean Coast, reaching the Zacate Waterfall . Hiking along the ‘Cordillera Gracias a Dios’, which has it’s highest peak in Pico Bonito and that will leave you breathless at the natural park that has made Honduras famous. Transfer to the Ferry dock for the afternoon ferry to Roatán .
