Arrival at San Pedro Sula and transfer to Tela, approximately 2 hours. A little slice of heaven on the north shore, is more than the sleepy town often described. This is where to go on the Honduras Caribbean coast if you want to relax and be near/on the beach and swim in the sea. Tela is located half way between the cities of San Pedro Sula and La Ceiba.

Breakfast. 8: 00 a.m. the boat ride from Tela to Punta Sal is 45 minutes long. You would have an hour or more, for walking through the National Park, with the opportunity to see monkeys, spiders, and butterflies. One or two hours for snorkelling (included equipment), the rest of the day you can relax and enjoy the beach. The length of the tour is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Relaxing is guaranteed, you can have a typical lunch at Cocalito Beach.

Breakfast. 8:30 a.m. kayaking through the mangrove canals of Punta Izopo National Park. Butterflies such as the Blue Morph abound as well as an ample variety of water birds including kingfishers and herons. We go back , for a visit to one of the Garifuna Villages Triunfo de la Cruz, where you can swim and have a typical lunch by the beach. Afternoon transfer to La Ceiba, approximately 2 hours.

Following the Rio Zacate trail, we’ll have a beautiful view of the Caribbean Coast, reaching the Zacate Waterfall . Hiking along the ‘Cordillera Gracias a Dios’, which has it’s highest peak in Pico Bonito, and that will leave you breathless at the natural park that has made Honduras famous. Optional Rafting available.Transfer to the Ferry dock for the afternoon ferry to Roatán .
