Early transfer to Guatemala City International Airport for your local flight to Flores, Peten. At your arrival meet with your guide for your transfer to Tikal National Park. Your guide will show you the layout of the temples, architecture, history, some theories of why the Mayans disappeared and if you are lucky a few monkeys, parrots, macaws and toucans will be on site. After the tour, enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the middle of the jungle.

For dinner you will enjoy a boat tour around Flores, with a show of the unique Guatemalan “Leyendas”, short stories that have been told for years. Although Guatemalan children might find them scary, this is one of the most popular oral traditions.

Transfer to Melchor de Mencos, the border with Belize. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport in Belize City, for you local flight to San Pedro, Belize’s most popular destination. Located on Ambergris Caye, San Pedro was immortalized in Maddona’s song “La Isla Bonita”. The streets of San Pedro Town bustle with local artists and craftsmen and contribute to the captivating atmosphere.

Join us for a leisurely 20-minute boat ride to Caye Caulker, where you visit the manatee habitat. You will be able to put on your gear and venture of in one of the few places in the world where you can swim and snorkel with manatees.  

After swimming beside these gentle giants, enjoy a beach-side lunch.  Then head to the Hol Chan “Little Channel” Marine Reserve. Breathtaking corals of all shapes and sizes with thousands of curious fish will have dazed as you observe this aquatic utopia. However, for the ultimate Hol Chan experience, you will be able to “swim with the sharks.” That’s right, you can swim with dozens of nurse sharks that will circle you and your boat, as if they were the Caribbean Sea’s welcoming committee.
