With a bachelor's degree in hotel management & tourism and a masters in finance in Guatemala, Jimmy is a member of the board of directors of AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce) and CAMTUR (Guatemalan Tourism Chamber). He was born and raised in Guatemala and is passionate about his country, its people and culture and he has worked in the tourism business since he was 19, both for hotels and 'cutting his teeth’ working in other in-coming tour operators in Guatemala. He enjoys playing golf and running marathons, exploring new areas in Central America and especially spending time with his family.
